PENNY the Dog needs a home

Penny is a courtesy post for us.  She is approximately 3 years old and was originally adopted from the APL.  The caregiver's living arrangements have changed and she can no longer care for her.  She does not want her to go to a kennel in a cage and therefore is looking for her to go directly into a loving home.  Penny is 50-55 lbs. and she is fully vetted including a current heartworm test.  Penny is housebroken and gets along great with cats.  She has never been around dogs and seems nervous but possibly a submissive dog would be fine with her.  She is protective of her house and yard and we do want her to have a fenced in yard due to her breed.  Penny knows basic commands and is wonderful in the house where she loves to play with squeaky toys and fetches.  If any children they should be at least teenagers.  If interested in Penny, please e-mail [email protected] or call Peggy @ 440-452-1619.
